Item LED Status Definition Flashing amber The drive is not configured and predicts the drive will fail. Solid amber The drive has failed. Off The drive is not configured by a RAID controller. System power LED definitions The system power LED is located on the Power On/Standby button and each status is defined as follows: System power LED Definition Off (Server) System has no power. Off (Server blade) Solid amber Flashing green Solid green If the Health Status LED bar is off, then the system has no power. If the Health Status LED bar is flashing green, then the Power On/Standby Button service is being initialized. System is in standby, Power On/Standby Button service is initialized. System is waiting to power on, Power On/Standby button is pressed. System is powered on. Health status LED bar definitions (blades only) HP ProLiant Gen8 server blades have a health status LED bar with the following status definitions: • Solid Green = Normal • Flashing Green = Power On/Standby Button service is being initialized. • Flashing Amber = Degraded condition • Flashing Red = Critical condition If the health LED status bar is flashing red, contact HP technical support ("Contacting HP technical support or an authorized reseller" on page 84).
