At the Do you want to modify the configuration for the customer LAN? prompt, enter y. The current IP address is shown; and the following prompt displays: Do you want to modify it? (Y/[N]) 5. Enter y. 6. Enter the new IP address. The customer must provide this address for network interface 0. 7. Confirm the new address. 8. Enter the MP Network name. This is the host name for the customer LAN. The name can be as many as 64 characters in length, and include alphanumeric characters: - (dash), _ (under bar), . (period), or a space. HP recommends that the name be a derivative of the complex name. For example, Acme.com_MP. 9. Enter the LAN parameters for the Subnet mask and Gateway address fields. This information must come from the customer. 10. The server indicates the parameters have been updated and returns to the MP Command Menu prompt (MP:CM>). 11. To check the LAN parameters and status, enter the ls command at the MP Command Menu prompt (MP:CM>).
