Each logical drive appears to the host as a physical disk device. Logical drives are created during initial installation of the disk array, and typically after installing a new disk module. To create a logical drive: 1. Right-click the disk array from the Detail pane. 2. Click Properties. 3. Click Logical Drives. 4. Click Create... to display the Create Logical Drive window. If there is no unallocated capacity on the disk array, the Create... option will not be available. 5. In the Number field, select the number of the new logical drive. 6. In the Capacity field, enter the desired size of the logical drive. 7. Click OK. NOTE! After creating a new logical drive, you must perform the necessary steps to configure the logical drive into the operating system. This is typically done using the Windows NT Disk Administrator.
