Downloading Firmware to a Disk Module This procedure updates the firmware code on the specified disk module. To download new firmware code to a disk module 1. Gather the following information: • The ID of the disk array. The disk array ID can be displayed using the arraydsp -i command. • The location and name of the file containing the new firmware code • The slot number of the disk module. Slot numbers are marked on the cabinet (A1 - A6, and B1 - B6). 2. From a command prompt, type in the following command: download -D slot codefilename slot identifies the cabinet shelf containing the disk drive codefilename identifies the file containing the firmware code 260 Windows NT

To download new firmware code to a disk module
1.
Gather the following information:
