If partitions are defined on the selected disks, a message appears warning you that data on the disk will be lost when the striped volume is created. You can then deselect that disk, if desired, or erase the disk and continue. 7. When you have selected all disks for the IS volume, press Esc and select Save changes, then exit this menu. (If you do not want to create the volume, select Discard changes, then exit this menu.) The IS volume exists as soon as you save the changes. The RAID Properties screen now displays the IS volume properties and status. 5.2.2 Configuration Screen Overview All BIOS-based CU screens have the areas shown in Figure 5.1.
