Service door and rear cover for use in federal models Description Service door and rear cover for use in federal models Spare part number 906112-001 Before removing the service door and rear cover, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. Remove the service door and rear cover: 1. Turn the computer upside down on a flat surface. 2. Slide the release latch to the left to unlock the service door (1). 3. Slide the service door away from the bottom of the computer (2). 4. Loosen the 14 Torx captive screws (1) to release the rear cover. Component replacement procedures 37
