Diagnostic utility If you suspect a problem with a hard disk drive, or have received an error message indicating a hard disk drive problem, or are preparing to make a service call to the IBM HelpCenter, run the hard disk drive diagnostic utility and record the results. To run the hard disk drive utility, Insert the Netfinity 4000R Diagnostic CD in the CD-ROM drive Restart the server. When the menu is presented, press 1 to select the diagnostics.
