Remove processor socket protective cover: Grasp the socket protective cover by the two tabs and carefully lift it straight up as shown in Figure 14 and save the protective cover. Hardware Installations and Upgrades Installing Processor Heatsink(s) To install processor heatsink(s) in the Intel® Server Chassis, follow these instructions: 1. the chassis cover and reconnect the AC power cord. See the documentation that came with your chassis for instructions on installing the cover. 12.
