FRONT RIGGINGS FRONT RIGGINGS SECTION 3 FRONT RIGGINGS ADJUSTING THE FLIP-UP FOOTREST (FIGURE 8) NOTE: This procedure is for fixed front frames ONLY. ADJUSTING FOOTPLATE ANGLE WARNING When determining the angle of the footplate, make sure the rear of the footplate does not interfere with the movement of the front casters. 1. Loosen, but do not remove the flat screws, washers and locknuts that secure the footplate to the two (2) footrest tubes. 2. Position the footplate to the necessary angle to accommodate the user. 3. Retighten the flat screws, washers and locknuts. ADJUSTING FOOTPLATE DEPTH 1. Remove the flip-up footrest from the wheelchair. Refer to INSTALLING/REMOVING/ADJUSTING THE FOOTREST(S) in this section of the manual. 2. Loosen, but do not remove the flat screws, washers and locknuts that secure the footplate to the footrest tubes. NOTE: Observe the angle of the footplate for reinstallation. 3. Move the footplate to one (1) of two (2) positions to accommodate the user. 4. Retighten the flat screws, washers and locknuts. 5. Reinstall the flip-up footrest onto the wheelchair. Refer to INSTALLING/REMOV- ING/ADJUSTING THE FOOTREST(S) in this section of the manual. ADJUSTING FOOTPLATE ANGLE
WARNING
When determining the angle of the footplate, make sure the rear of the
footplate does not interfere with the movement of the front casters±
