DR-HD100: Using with a Computer Once video clips are recorded to the DR-HD100 it is possible to use those clips in most computer based DV/HD NLE systems. For most DV and some HDV compatible NLE systems, DR-HD100 DTE functionality eliminates the capture stage. All that is necessary is the moving of the video files from the DR-HD100 to a computer. Recording for Unsupported NLE If a desired NLE is not supported by Focus Enhancements DTE, it is necessary to use the AV/C control to capture the video footage for editing. In the past, to get footage into an NLE system, it was necessary to
capture / digitize the footage using a video capture card. For most DV
and some HDV compatible NLE systems, DR-HD100 DTE
functionality eliminates the capture stage. All that is necessary is the
moving of the video files from the DR-HD100 to a computer.
Recording for Unsupported NLE
If a desired NLE is not supported by Focus Enhancements DTE, it is
necessary to use the AV/C control to capture the video footage for editing.
