Troubleshooting EN 31 If, after following the steps in the chart below, the problem still exists, please consult your nearest JVC dealer. Images on the LCD monitor appear dark or whitish. • In places subject to low temperature, images become dark due to the characteristics of the LCD monitor. This is not a malfunction. «Adjust the brightness and angle of the LCD monitor (੬ 8, 13). Picture does not appear on the LCD monitor. • The LCD monitor's brightness setting is too dark. «Adjust the brightness of the LCD monitor (੬ 13). Aspect ratio is strange. «If the aspect ratio of the video you are playing is strange, change the setting in "16:9 OUTPUT" (੬ 21, 23). No power is supplied. • The power is not connected properly. • The battery pack is not attached firmly. • The battery is dead. The POWER/CHARGE lamp on the camcorder does not light during charging. • Charging is difficult in places subject to extremely high/low temperatures. • The battery pack is not attached firmly. «Connect the AC Adapter securely.
