OPERATIONAL MANUAL This is a crucial setup to get good printing results on different materials. Each material must have an associated "RSM" value. The height of the card to be used for printing is set so that the machine can perform the calculation and determine the value. For example: Here we have a file with four different bars. Each bar is 100 mm height. In the printing 1:1 scale is supposed to be 400 mm of image printed. For this function (RSM) calculation let's use this example explanation: What we get when we print is a file with 394mm. The RSM calculation will adjust this compensation. The calculation is performed as follows: PRINTED VALUE divided by VALUE multiplied to the value that the software calculates. 394/400 = 0.985 x 1.0683100223 = 1.052285372 (NEW RSM VALUE) DOCUMENT I 18.40V02 - Update: 04.09.2019 Page 103

OPERATIONAL MANUAL
This is a crucial setup to get good printing results on different materials. Each material must have an associated "RSM"
value.
The height of the card to be used for printing is set so that the machine can perform the calculation and determine the
value.
For example:
Here we have a file with four different bars. Each bar is 100 mm height. In the printing 1:1 scale is supposed to be 400
mm of image printed.
For this function (RSM) calculation let’s use this example explanation:
What we get when we print is a file with 394mm.
The RSM calculation will adjust this compensation.
The calculation is performed as follows:
PRINTED VALUE divided by VALUE multiplied to the value that the software calculates.
394/400 = 0.985 x 1.0683100223 = 1.052285372 (NEW RSM VALUE)
