On (High): Select this item if a streak remains after using [On (Low)]. The reproduction of fine lines on the original may become lighter than when using [On (Low)]. Initialize the hard disk installed on the machine to return it to the factory defaults. Display Brightness Silent Mode NOTE This function will not be displayed when the optional Data Security Kit is activated. Set the brightness of the touch panel. Value: 1 (Darker), 2, 3, 4 (Lighter) Makes the machine enter a sleep state immediately after printing to reduce operating sound. Enable this setting if you find that the operating sound is unpleasant. Value: Off, On Memory Diagnostics NOTE When [On] is selected, it may take time for the next print job to start if the ambient temperature is 17°C or less. Perform this function to check the machine memory. * Displayed only when the optional FAX Kit is installed. 8-57
