Settings Using memory manager Your BL40 has three available memories: the phone itself, the USIM card and an external memory card (microSD, which you may need to purchase separately). You can use memory manager to see how much of each memory has been used and how much space is available. From the home screen select then scroll through Phone settings in the Settings tab. Select Memory info.. Handset multimedia memory View the memory for multimedia content such as Pictures, Sounds, Video, Flash and Documents. Handset reserved memory View the memory available on your handset for SMS, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks list, Memos, Alarms, Call history, Bookmarks and Miscellaneous items. USIM memory - View the memory available on your USIM Card. External memory - View the memory available on your external memory card (which you may need to purchase separately). Using flight mode Turn flight mode on by selecting then Settings > Profiles and select Flight mode. Flight mode prevents you making calls, connecting to the Internet, sending messages or using Bluetooth. Sending and receiving files using Bluetooth Bluetooth is a great way to send and receive files as it does not require any wired connection, is quick and easy. You can also connect to a Bluetooth headset to make and receive calls. 112 LG BL40 | User Guide
