9: Services Settings Syslog Page Clicking the Syslog link in the menu bar displays the Syslog page. This page shows the current configuration, status, and statistics for the syslog. Here you can configure the syslog destination and the severity of the events to log. Enter the number for the local port on the IntelliBox from which system logs are sent. The default is 514. The system log is always saved to local storage, but it is not retained through reboots. Saving the system log to a server that supports remote logging services (see RFC 3164) enables the administrator to save the complete system log history. Enter the number for the port on the remote server that supports logging services. The default is 514. From the drop-down box, select the minimum level of system message the IntelliBox should log. current configuration, status, and statistics for the syslog. Here you can configure the

Description
Host
Enter the IP address of the remote server from which system
logs are sent for storage.
Local Port
Enter the number for the local port on the IntelliBox from which
system logs are sent. The default is 514.
