6. Remove the retainer bracket from the drive being replaced and install it on the new drive. 7. Slide the new optical drive into the bay from the front until it snaps into position. 8. To remove or replace the diskette drive or card reader, do the following: 1. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the cover" on page 78. 2. Remove the front bezel. See "Removing the front bezel" on page 82. 3. Locate the diskette drive or card reader. See "Locations" on page 79. 4. Disconnect the signal and power cables from the rear of the diskette drive.
