Powering Up Your Vanguard 340 and 340 Enhanced Powering Up Your Vanguard 340 and 340 Enhanced Introduction This section describes the sequence of events when you power up and power down the Vanguard 34x. Powering On the Vanguard 34x The Vanguard 34x does not have a power switch on the unit. Use these steps to power on the device: 1) Plug the DC output cable of the power supply into the power socket on the Vanguard 34x back panel. 2) Connect the power cord to the power supply outlet. Resetting the 34x The RESET button resets the node. Pressing the RESET button is the equivalent of a power-up operation which clears all existing calls and brings down all links. For the location of the RESET button, refer to the "Enclosures" section in Chapter 2. 4-2 Powering Up and Loading Software

Introduction
This section describes the sequence of events when you power up and power down
the Vanguard 34x.
Powering On the
Vanguard 34x
The Vanguard 34x does not have a power switch on the unit. Use these steps to
power on the device:
1)
Plug the DC output cable of the power supply into the power socket on the
Vanguard 34x back panel.
2)
Connect the power cord to the power supply outlet.
Resetting the 34x
