ProSafe M4100 and M7100 Managed Switches Class of Service (CoS) Commands This section describes the commands you use to configure and view Class of Service (CoS) settings for the switch. The commands in this section allow you to control the priority and transmission rate of traffic. Note: Commands you issue in the Interface Config mode only affect a single interface. Commands you issue in the Global Config mode affect all interfaces. classofservice dot1p-mapping This command maps an 802.1p priority to an internal traffic class. The values can range from 0-7. The values range from 0-6, although the actual number of available traffic classes depends on the platform. For more information about 802.1p priority, see Voice VLAN Commands on page 62. Format Modes classofservice dot1p-mapping • Global Config • Interface Config no classofservice dot1p-mapping This command maps each 802.1p priority to its default internal traffic class value. Format Modes no classofservice dot1p-mapping • Global Config • Interface Config classofservice ip-dscp-mapping This command maps an IP DSCP value to an internal traffic class. The value is specified as either an integer from 0 to 63, or symbolically through one of the following keywords: af11, af12, af13, af21, af22, af23, af31, af32, af33, af41, af42, af43, be, cs0, cs1, cs2, cs3, cs4, cs5, cs6, cs7, ef. The values can range from 0-6, although the actual number of available traffic classes depends on the platform.
