ReadyNAS OS 6.4 To create a recovery job: 1. Log in to your ReadyNAS. 2. Select Backup > Backups. 3. Click the Add Backup button. 4. In the Backup Job Name field, enter a name for the new backup job. The name can have a maximum of 255 characters. 5. From the pair of buttons on the left side of the window, click the Local button if the files you want to recover are local (on the ReadyNAS, or connected USB drive, or connected eSATA drive) or click the Remote button. The window adjusts to show the appropriate set of parameters. 6. Do one of the following: • If you clicked the Local button, click the Browse button and navigate to the file or folder you want to recover from the backup. • If you clicked the Remote button, enter the host name, select the backup protocol, the path, and if required the login ID and password. Enter the folder path according to the following: • If you select a Windows protocol, use a forward slash (/) to separate directories, for example, enter one of the following: Backup and Recovery 216

To create a recovery job:
1.
Log in to your ReadyNAS.
2.
Select
Backup > Backups
.
3.
Click the
Add Backup
button.
4.
In the
Backup Job Name
field, enter a name for the new backup job.
The name can have a maximum of 255 characters.
5.
From the pair of buttons on the left side of the window, click the
Local
button if the files you want to recover are
local (on the ReadyNAS, or connected USB drive, or connected eSATA drive) or click the
Remote
button.
The window adjusts to show the appropriate set of parameters.
6.
Do one of the following:
If you clicked the
Local
button, click the
Browse
button and navigate to the file or folder you want to recover
from the backup.
If you clicked the
Remote
button, enter the host name, select the backup protocol, the path, and if required
the login ID and password.
Enter the folder path according to the following:
