Even if you change this setting, there is no output unless you turn the nonfading output (refer to Using nonfading output on page 86) or subwoofer output (refer to Using subwoofer output on page 86) in the audio menu on. ! If you change the subwoofer controller, subwoofer output and nonfading output in the audio menu return to the factory settings. Switching the sound muting/attenuation Sound from this system is muted, attenuated or mixed automatically in the following cases: ! When a call is made or received using a cellular telephone connected to this unit. ! When the voice guidance is output from a Pioneer navigation unit connected to this unit. % Touch TEL/GUIDE on the initial menu to select any of the muting, attenuation or off. Touch TEL/GUIDE until the desired setting appears in the display. ! MUTE - Muting ! ATT -20dB - Attenuation (ATT -20dB has a stronger effect than ATT -10dB) Mixing navigation voice/AVGVDP1 beep and audio sound Mixing navigation voice/beep and audio sound When there is a navigation guidance, you can mix the guidance voice/beep sound from a Pioneer navigation unit with the audio sound from this system. You can select either mixing both the guidance voice and the beep sound or the guidance voice only. ! You can operate this function only when a Pioneer navigation unit is connected to this unit. ! When the multi-channel processor (e.g., DEQ-P8000) is connected to this unit, you cannot use this function. ! We recommend that you select GUIDE to ensure quality sound. % Touch NAVI MIX on the initial menu to switch the mixing of navigation voice/ beep.
