Section 11 TV tuner Introduction of advanced TV tuner operation The preset number you have selected flashes and then remains lit. The selected station is stored in memory. # If you do not operate the list within about 30 seconds, the preset channel list mode is canceled automatically. 1 1 Function display Shows the function names. 1 Press MULTI-CONTROL to display the main menu. FUNCTION, AUDIO and ENTERTAINMENT appear on the display. 2 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select FUNCTION. BSSM appears on the display. # To return to the channel display, press BAND. Note If you do not operate the function within about 30 seconds, the display is automatically returned to the channel display. Storing broadcast stations You can easily store up to 12 broadcast stations for later recall. 1 When you find a station that you want to store in memory, turn MULTI-CONTROL to switch to the preset channel list mode. 2 Use MULTI-CONTROL to store the selected station in memory. Turn to change the preset number. Press and hold to store. Notes ! Up to 24 stations, 12 for each of two TV bands, can be stored in memory. ! You can also store stations assigned to preset tuning numbers P01 to P06 by pressing and holding one of the preset tuning buttons 1 to 6 on the remote control. Storing the strongest broadcast stations sequentially 1 Use MULTI-CONTROL and select FUNCTION to display BSSM. 2 Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn BSSM on. Searching is displayed. While Searching is displayed, the 12 strongest broadcast stations will be stored in order from the lowest channel up. When finished, the preset channel list appears. # To cancel the storage process, press MULTI-CONTROL again. 3 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select the desired station. Turn to change the station.
