"Zone 2": When speakers are connected to Zone 2 speaker terminals "Zone 2/Zone 3": When connecting speaker to both ZONE 2 speaker terminal and ZONE 3 speaker terminals. • "Zone2/Zone3" cannot be selected when surround back speakers and height speakers are being used. "No": When speakers are not connected to zone 2 or zone 3 speaker terminals • This setting cannot be selected when "Zone 2 Preout" is set to "Zone B". Set whether you will use the Speaker B system. "No": Speaker B system will not be used "Yes": Speaker B system will be used without biamp connection "Bi-Amp": Speaker B system will be used with biamp connection • "Bi-Amp" cannot be selected when height speakers are being used. • This setting will be set to "No" in either of following cases. -- When "System Setup" - "Speaker" - "Configuration" - "Zone Speaker" is set to other than "No" -- When 2 sets of height speakers are used Set the output destination of the audio that is output from the ZONE 2 PRE/LINE OUT or ZONE B LINE OUT terminals. "Zone 2": When connecting a pre-main amplifier in a separate room (ZONE 2) "Zone B": When connecting a pre-main amplifier, transmitter of wireless headphones, etc. to ZONE B • This setting is fixed to "Zone 2" when "Zone Speaker" is set to "Zone 2" or "Zone 2/Zone 3". Setting Item Bi-Amp Default Value No Setting Details Set whether the speakers are bi-amp connected. "No": When speakers are not bi-amp connected to any speaker terminals "Front": When using bi-amp connection for the front speakers only "Front / Center": When using bi-amp connection for the front speakers and the center speaker. This can only be selected when you have set "Speaker Channels" to "3.1 ch" or "5.1 ch". "Front / Surround": When using bi-amp connection for the front speakers and the surround speakers. This can only be selected when you have set "Speaker Channels" to "4.1 ch" or "5.1 ch". "Center / Surround": When using bi-amp connection for the center speaker and the surround speakers. This can only be selected when you have set "Speaker Channels" to "5.1 ch". "Front / Center / Surround": When using bi-amp connection for the front speakers, the center speaker, and the surround speakers. This can only be selected when you have set "Speaker Channels" to "5.1 ch". • This item will be set to "No" when using ZONE 3 or Speakers B, or when "Speaker Channels" is set to either "6.1.4ch" or "7.1.4ch".
