Using Web Image Monitor IPv4 Item IPv4 Ethernet Item Host Name DHCP Domain Name IPv4 Address Subnet Mask DDNS Indicates that IPv4 is enabled. Description Description Enter the host name you want to set for the network interface board or wireless LAN interface unit, using up to 63 characters. The default is RNP, followed by the MAC address of the active interface board. If you change the name to other than the default, the new name cannot begin with "RNP" or "rnp". Select [Enable] to automatically configure the network settings using the DHCP server. Select [Disable] to manually configure the network settings. Specify whether to use the domain name obtained from the DHCP server, or the domain name set for the device. • "Auto-Obtain (DHCP)" selected When using DHCP, the domain name obtained from the DHCP server is used. If the domain name cannot be obtained from the DHCP server, the domain name set for the device is used. • "Specify" selected The domain name set for the device is used. The sub-net mask is a part of the IP address used as a network address. When using DHCP, the sub-net mask obtained from the DHCP server is used. Select whether DDNS (Dynamic DNS) name resolution for the network interface board or wireless LAN interface unit is active or inactive. When active, the DNS database is immediately updated. 41
