Adding a New Contacts Entry Note: Keep in mind that pauses count as digits towards the 20-digit maximum. Store Pauses in a Contacts Entry 1. In standby mode, enter the number you wish to store (such as your bank's teleservice number). 2. Press the Option (left) soft key ( ). The following pause menu options appear in the display: ⅷ P pause-a hard pause (awaits input from you). ⅷ T pause-a two-second pause. P pause is highlighted. 3. Use the navigation keys to highlight the pause option of your choice. 4. Press the key to enter the highlighted pause into your number sequence. 5. When you are finished entering the number and pauses, press the Save (right) soft key ( ) to store the number in your Contacts. Saving a Number from a Call Once you have finished a call, you can save the number of the caller to your Contacts list. Note: If the call was incoming and Caller ID information was unavailable, then the Save option is also unavailable. 1. After you press the key to end your call, the call time, length of call, phone number, and name of the other party (if available) appear in the display. Store Pauses in a Contacts Entry
1.
In standby mode, enter the number you wish to store
(such as your bank’s teleservice number).
2.
Press the
Option
(left) soft key (
). The following pause
menu options appear in the display:
±
P pause
—a hard pause (awaits input from you).
±
T pause
—a two-second pause.
P pause
is highlighted.
3.
Use the navigation keys to highlight the pause option of
your choice.
4.
Press the
key
to enter the highlighted pause into your
number sequence.
5.
When you are finished entering the number and pauses,
press the
Save
(right) soft key (
) to store the number
in your
Contacts
.
Saving a Number from a Call
Once you have finished a call, you can save the
number of the caller to your Contacts list.
Note:
If the call was incoming and Caller ID information was unavailable,
then the
Save
option is also unavailable.
