Section 8 Count Down 4. Press when you are finished entering the time for the alarm. The alarm is set and the alarm icon ( ) appears in the display. When an alarm sounds An animated alarm clock appears in the display and an alert sounds when the specified time for the alarm arrives. • Press to silence the alarm. • If the alarm was set as a Daily alarm, the alarm icon remains in the top of the display. • If the alarm was set as a Once only alarm, the alarm icon is removed from the top of the display. Turn off the alarm 1. In standby mode, press the Right navigation key, then press for Alarm Clock. The following options appear in the display: ⅷ Once ⅷ Daily ⅷ Off 2. Use the navigation keys to highlight Off, then press . All alarms are turned off. Count Down Count Down allows you to view the amount of time between the current date and any event that you want to schedule. You can create up to twenty Count Down events. Section 8: Planner 99
