3. Press to select the desired Voice Kit function. The following three sections describe each Voice Kit item in greater detail. Record Voice Dial lets you dial a number by saying the name or phrase that you've recorded for that number. Before you can use Voice Dial, you'll need to record the names or phrases that you wish to use. The Voice Kit lets you record up to 20 names and phrases. Tips for recording Voice Tags • Record Voice Tag names or phrases in a quiet area. • Choose a name or phrase that is not too long or short. • Speak clearly and distinctly while recording. • Avoid recording names or phrases that sound alike. Record a Voice Tag for Voice Dial 1. In standby mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then press (Voice Kit). Record is highlighted. 2. Press . The Quick Dial screen appears on the display, and the phone prompts, "Please say the name." 3. Wait for the beep and then say the name or phrase. The phone plays back the name or phrase, and then the phone prompts, "Please repeat the name." 38 Section 3
