2. At the prompt, "Place device you are connecting to in discoverable mode", place the target device in discoverable mode. (See the target device's user manual for more information.) 3. Tap OK. Your phone searches for discoverable devices and list available devices appears in the display. 4. Tap the device you want to pair with your phone. Your phone attempts to Autopair with the selected device. 5. Check your phone's display, and the target device, to confirm that the same passkey is displayed on both. If the passkey matches, tap Yes on your phone and accept the prompt on the target device. Note: When pairing your phone with a Bluetooth device other than a headset or headphones, the same passkey or PIN must be entered on both devices for the pairing to succeed. 6. At the prompt "Before connecting to ", set the incoming security for this device: • Tap Always Ask to have your phone prompt for confirmation before accepting pairing requests from this device. • Tap Always Connect to allow automatic pairings from this device. Check your phone’s display, and the target device, to confirm
that the same passkey is displayed on both. If the passkey
matches, tap

on your phone and accept the prompt on the
target device.
Note:
When pairing your phone with a Bluetooth device other than a headset or
