Dialing a Number from Phonebook Once you have stored phone numbers in the Phonebook, you can dial them easily and quickly by using the location numbers that were assigned to them in the Phonebook. Note: If you cannot remember a location number, you must go into the Contact list menu in the Phonebook menu to search for the entry by name. For details, "Finding a Phonebook Entry" on page 57. Speed Dialing Once you have stored phone numbers from your Phonebook list, you can set up to 8 speed dial entries and then dial them easily whenever you want, simply by pressing the associated numeric key. In Idle mode, to speed dial the numbers assigned to keys (2 to 9), press and hold the appropriate key. Setting Up Speed Dial Entries 1. When the Idle screen displays, press the Ph.Book soft key. 2. Scroll to Speed dial by pressing the Up or Down Navigation key and press the Select soft key or the key. 3.
