Keep a distance of about 0.3 m to 1.5 m (1 foot to 5 feet) between the camcorder and the subject when you use the video light. Recording in mirror mode LED Video Light Each time you press the LIGHT button, the indicator changes as follows. No indicator (Off)  (On)  ... (Auto)  Press the LIGHT button repeatedly to cancel the Video Light.  Notes  The Video Light generates strong light. Do not use the Video Light directly in front of the eyes at close range.  The battery drains quickly while using the Video Light.  Tips  You can adjust the brightness of the Video Light using the [Light Bright] menu (p. 86).  When the Video Light is set to (Auto), the video light may turn on and off repeatedly. In such a case, press LIGHT repeatedly to select (On).  When you take photos, the video light is turned off and acts as the flash. Open the LCD panel 90 degrees to the camcorder (), then rotate it 180 degrees to the lens side ().  Tips  A mirror-image of the subject appears on the LCD screen, but the image will be normal when recorded. Using the Video Light (HDR-CX360/
CX360V/PJ30/PJ30V)
You can use the Video Light depending on
the surrounding condition. Keep a distance
of about 0.3 m to 1.5 m (1 foot to 5 feet)
between the camcorder and the subject
when you use the video light.
