You can use the unit without connecting the AC power cord. Charging time depends on what mode the unit is in. Refer to "Charging time:" (page 37). Notes • Depending on the unit temperature, you may be unable to use the unit or the power may turn off automatically to protect the unit. If temperature is too high, leave the power off and wait until the unit temperature goes down. If you turn on the power without letting the unit cool sufficiently, the power may turn off again or you may be unable to operate the unit. • If you charge the unit after it has not been used for a long time, you may be unable to charge it to the proper capacity the first time. This is due to the battery characteristics, and is not a malfunction. Charge the unit again. Connecting to an AC power source 1 Connect the AC power cord to the AC adaptor. 2 Plug the connector of the AC adaptor into the DC IN terminal on the unit. Preparing the remote control The supplied lithium battery (CR2025) has already been inserted into the remote control. Connect the AC power cord to
the AC adaptor.

Plug the connector of the AC

on the unit.
