Making word/video connector settings Settings can be made for the WORD/VIDEO IN and WORD/ VIDEO THRU/OUT connectors. 1. Select the WORD/VIDEO SETUP item on the GENERAL page to open the WORD/VIDEO SETUP screen. (See "Menu operation procedures" on page 16.) 4 - Recording Setting the reference level You can set the analog input and output headroom (difference between the maximum and reference levels). 1. Select the REFERENCE LEVEL item on the GENERAL page to open the REFERENCE LEVEL screen. (See "Menu operation procedures" on page 16.) 2. Set the word clock output signal. Option WORD OUT/ TERM-ON (default) WORD OUT/ TERM-OFF THRU OUT/ TERM-OFF Meaning Set the signal output from the WORD/VIDEO OUT/THRU connector to WORD OUT, and turn WORD/VIDEO IN connector termination resistance (75Ω) on. Set the signal output from the WORD/VIDEO OUT/THRU connector to WORD OUT, and turn WORD/VIDEO IN connector termination resistance (75Ω) off. Set the signal output from the WORD/VIDEO OUT/THRU connector to THRU output of the signal from the WORD/VIDEO IN connector, and turn WORD/ VIDEO IN connector termination resistance (75Ω) off. 3. Making word/video connector
settings
Settings can be made for the
WORD/VIDEO IN
and
WORD/
VIDEO THRU/OUT
connectors.
1.
Select the
WORD/VIDEO SETUP
item on the
GENERAL
page to open the
WORD/VIDEO SETUP
screen. (See “Menu operation procedures” on page 16.)
2.
Set the word clock output signal.

Setting the reference level
You can set the analog input and output headroom (difference

Turn input monitoring off before playing back recordings.
