Setting the recording file format, MULTI JOG, SHIFT

4 - Recording Options: CH01-CH63: First channel included when selecting a range of channels at once CH02-CH64: Last channel included when selecting a range of channels at once OFF/ON: Record function status for range of channels selected at once 4. By moving the cursor to the record function display area, you can enable/disable recording for individual channels. Press the MULTI JOG dial to enable/disable recording for the channel where the cursor is. NOTE You can also turn the MULTI JOG dial to select a channel. Turn the MULTI JOG dial while pressing and holding the SHIFT button to move the cursor by 4 channels at a time. Setting the recording file format The quantization bit depth and sampling frequency used when recording files can be set. 1. Select the BIT LENGTH item on the REC FILE FORMAT page to open the BIT LENGTH screen. (See "Menu operation procedures" on page 16.) When the setting is changed from 44.1/48kHz to 88.2/96kHz or from 88.2/96kHz to 44.1/48kHz, a message appears confirming that the maximum number of recording channels has changed, as shown below. When this message is open. press the MULTI JOG dial to confirm the sampling frequency change and return to the Menu Screen. NOTE The maximum number of recording channels for this unit is as follows. oo 44.1/48kHz recording sampling frequency: 64 channels oo 88.2/96kHz recording sampling frequency: 32 channels 2. Set the quantization bit depth. Options: 16bit, 24bit (default) 3. Confirm the setting and return to the REC FILE FORMAT page. 4. Turn the MULTI JOG dial to select the REC Fs item. 5. Press the MULTI JOG dial to open the REC Fs screen. 6. Set the sampling frequency used for recording. Options: 44.1kHz, 48kHz (default), 88.2kHz, 96kHz 7. Setting the recording file format
The quantization bit depth and sampling frequency used when
recording files can be set.

Select the
BIT LENGTH
item on the
REC FILE
FORMAT
page to open the
BIT LENGTH
screen. (See
“Menu operation procedures” on page 16.)

Set the quantization bit depth.
Options:
16bit
,
24bit
(default)
3.
Confirm the setting and return to the
REC FILE
FORMAT
page.
4.
Turn the
MULTI JOG
dial to select the
REC Fs
item.
5.
Press the
MULTI JOG
dial to open the
REC Fs
screen.
6.
Set the sampling frequency used for recording.
Options:
44.1kHz
,
48kHz
(default),
88.2kHz
,
96kHz
7.
Confirm the setting selection to change the sampling
frequency used by the unit and return to the Menu Screen.
When the setting is changed from 44.1/48kHz to 88.2/96kHz or
from 88.2/96kHz to 44.1/48kHz, a message appears confirming
that the maximum number of recording channels has changed,
as shown below.
When this message is open. press the
MULTI JOG
dial to confirm
the sampling frequency change and return to the Menu Screen.
NOTE
The maximum number of recording channels for this unit is
as follows.
