7 - Internal Settings Setting the timecode Use the TC SETUP 1 and TC SETUP 2 pages to make settings related to timecode. TC SETUP 1 page settings 88 GENERATOR U.B. This shows the user bits (U.B.) for the timecode generator. Select the GENERATOR U.B. item, and press the MULTI JOG dial to open the GENERATOR USER BITS screen. 88 GENERATOR TC This shows the current timecode generator time. Select the GENERATOR TC item, and press the MULTI JOG dial to open the GENERATOR TC screen. GENERATOR TC screen when set to FREE RUN GENERATOR TC screen when not set to FREE RUN GENERATOR TC item When the GENERATOR MODE item on the TC GENERATOR MODE screen is set to FREE RUN, select RESTART and press the MULTI JOG dial to reset the timecode generator timecode to the start time. TC INPUT item When the GENERATOR MODE item on the TC GENERATOR MODE screen is set to FREE RUN, select CAPTURE and press the MULTI JOG dial to capture the current timecode time shown for TC INPUT and set it as the timecode generator timecode. When the GENERATOR MODE item on the TC GENERATOR MODE screen is set to FREE ONCE or JAM SYNC, the "waiting" (capture status) indicator lights green when waiting to capture timecode. When timecode is captured, the indicator turns off. START TIME item This shows the time when timecode resumes, which is set with the START TIME item on the START TIME screen. GENERATOR U.B. item Set the user bits (U.B.). NOTE You can also use a USB keyboard to input numbers and the letters A-F. 88 TC INPUT MONITOR This shows the input timecode time. 88 TC INPUT FRAME This shows the input timecode frame type. 88 TC INPUT U.B. This shows the user bits (U.B.) for the input timecode. 88 START TIME When the RESTART item on the GENERATOR TC screen is selected and the MULTI JOG dial is pressed, the time that the timecode restarts is shown in the GENERATOR TC item on the TC SETUP 1 page. Select the START TIME item, and press the MULTI JOG dial to open the START TIME screen. START TIME item  Set the time when timecode resumes. This shows the current timecode generator time.

dial to open the
GENERATOR TC
screen.
