Configuring Layer 2 Multicast Configuring MLD Snooping Follow these steps to configure Last Listener Query Interval and Last Listener Query Count in the Global Config section: 1) Specify the interval between MASQs. Last Listener Query Interval When the switch receives an MLD leave message, the switch obtains the address of the multicast group that the host wants to leave from the message. Then the switch sends out MASQs to this multicast group through the port receiving the leave message. This parameter determines the interval between MASQs. The valid values are from 1 to 5 seconds. 2) Specify the number of MASQs to be sent. Last Listener Query Count 3) Click Apply. When the switch receives an MLD leave message, the switch obtains the address of the multicast group that the host wants to leave from the message. Then the switch sends out MASQs to this multicast group through the port receiving the leave message. This parameter determines the number of MASQs to be sent. The valid values are from 1 to 5.
