Managing System System Info Configurations In the Serial Port Settings section, specify the Baud Rate and click Apply. Baud Rate Configure the baud rate of the console connection. The default value is 38400 bps. Date Bits Displays the data bits. Parity Bits Displays the parity bits. Stop Bits Displays the stop bits. 2.2 Using the CLI 2.2.1 Viewing the System Summary On privileged EXEC mode or any other configuration mode, you can use the following command to view the system information of the switch: show interface status [ fastEthernet port | gigabitEthernet port | ten-gigabitEthernet port ] View status of the interface. port: Enter the number of the Ethernet port. show system-info View the system information including system Description, Device Name, Device Location, System Contact, Hardware Version, Firmware Version, System Time, Run Time and so on. The following example shows how to view the interface status and the system information of the switch.
