Configuring Layer 2 Multicast Configuring MLD Snooping 3.1.7 Binding Profile and Member Ports With this function, you can configure each port's filtering profile and the number of multicast groups a port can join. Choose the menu Multicast > MLD Snooping > Profile Binding to load the following page. Figure 3-8 Profile Binding Binding Profile and Member Ports Follow these steps to bind the profile to the port. 1) Select the port to be bound, and enter the Profile ID in the Profile ID column. Select Select the port to be bound. Port Displays the port number. Profile ID Enter the profile ID you create to bind the profile to the port. One port can only be bound to one profile. ClearBinding 2) Click Apply. Click to clear the binding between the profile and the port. Configuring Max Groups a Port Can Join Follow these steps to configure the maximum groups a port can join and overflow action. 1) Select a port to configure its Max Group and Overflow Action.
