14 Appendix WD TV Live/Live Plus HD Media Players User Manual Multiformat Content Playback Multiformat is a file type that groups other files of the same digital content but may be encoded in different digital formats. For example, a single video file may actually include a few components such as video, audio, and photo grouped together.
