F7.Metronome (Metronome settings) This function sets the beat and volume for the metronome. 1 To access these settings, enter FUNCTION mode and go to main function F7. 1 2 ROOM NORMAL MEDIUM BRILLIANCE REVERB EFFECT TOUCH TEMPO 2 Next, press [+/YES] to enter the subfunction group. If necessary, use [t] or [s] to select the subfunction (either "Beat" or "Volume"), and then use [+/YES] or [-NO] to set the value. Subfunctions 7.1 Beat Values: NORMAL (no beat), 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Default: NORMAL 7.2 Volume Values: 1,...,20 Default: 10 NOTE You can also set the metronome volume without entering FUNCTION mode. Simply hold down the [METRONOME] button and press [-NO] or [+/YES] to change the setting. NOTE As a shortcut, you can switch directly into the metronome setup function by holding down [METRONOME] and pressing [FUNCTION]. Once you have changed the settings, press [FUNCTION] again to return to normal mode. F8.Display (Display mode) This function selects the type of information displayed in the screen areas indicated below. Values: NORM, CHORD, VELO, MIDI Default: NORM Explanation NORM (normal) Voice name CHORD ROOM NORMAL MEDIUM BRILLIANCE REVERB EFFECT TOUCH TEMPO Instrument icon Name of chord played at keyboard ROOM NORMAL MEDIUM BRILLIANCE REVERB EFFECT TOUCH TEMPO Volume of each note being hit CD DE E FF GA AB B • The bar graph shows the volume of each note being hit, where the leftmost bar indicates note C (of any octave) and the rightmost bar shows note B (of any octave).
