Other Functions (Tools) 3 Press the [DELETE] button in the display. A message appears, prompting confirmation of the operation. Confirm that the Song to be deleted is shown in the display. If you want to change the Song, press the [CANCEL] button and select the desired Song. 4 Press the button of the specific data you want to delete ("DELETE ALL," "DELETE REGIST" or "DELETE PERFORMANCE"). The selected data will be deleted. Converting to XG Song data recorded on the ELS-01 series and ELS-02 series instruments can be converted to XG-compatible data which can be played back by XG-compatible devices. Before executing the conversion, confirm that the USB flash memory contains enough amount of available memory. NOTE • The converted XG Song data may sound differently from the original data. • Protected Songs cannot be converted. 1 Select a Song to be converted to XG. For details on selecting a Song, see page 112. 2 Press the [TOOLS] button at the top right of the display to call up the TOOLS 7 Page. Music Data Recorder (MDR) • DELETE ALL: Deletes the entire Song. • DELETE REGIST: Deletes only Registration data in the Song. • DELETE PERFORMANCE: Deletes only performance data in the Song. 3 Press the [CONVERT] button. A "Which do you want to select?" message appears. Pressing [CANCEL] aborts the operation. When deleting folders, Songs with only registration, Songs with only performance data, Protected Songs or XG-compatible Songs: Select [DELETE] to actually delete the data, or select [CANCEL] to abort the operation.
