About the Internet Settings Display LAN Wireless LAN In this display page, you can make settings for the LAN connection. These settings are needed for not only wired LAN connection but also wireless LAN connection. In this display page, you can make settings for the wireless LAN connection. The settings here must be the same as the settings on the access point (the Wireless LAN router) you are using. Two setting methods are available: the method using WPS (push button) () and the method using Search for access point (). Note that you need to refer to the manual of the access point for information about how to confirm/change the settings of the access point. Use DHCP Determines whether or not DHCP is used. If your router is compatible with DHCP, select "ON (set DNS automatically)" here. DNS server 1 / DNS server 2 These determine the addresses of the primary and secondary DNS servers. These settings must be made when "Use DHCP" above is set to "ON (set DNS manually)" or "OFF." IP address / Subnet mask / Gateway These settings are available only when DHCP is not used. The settings here are: IP address, subnet mask, and gateway server address. These settings must be made when "Use DHCP" above is set to "OFF." Make a written note of these settings here, in case you have to enter the settings again. Use DHCP DNS server 1 DNS server 2 IP address Subnet mask Gateway WPS (push button) Press the [Start] button to call up the confirmation dialog prompting you whether or not to start the WPS settings. Press [YES], then press the WPS button of the desired access point within two minutes. With this operation, the settings will be input automatically to SSID (), Channel (), Security (), and Key (). NOTE WPS does not support the PIN code format. Search for access point Press [Start] here to call up the list of the access points near the instrument. From among the list, select your particular access point, then press [OK] to call up the confirmation dialog prompting you whether or not to apply the access point settings to the instrument. By pressing [YES], the settings will be input automatically to SSID (), Channel (), and Security (). NOTE No information is shown here when radio waves from the access point cannot reach the instrument. SSID Determines the SSID setting. Channel Determines the channel.
