 NOTE [-] [3] controls Selects the previous/next position's note of the currently selected instrument. In the notes below for example, you can select notes ,  and  one by one. Rests ( and ) are ignored.      QUANTIZE [-] [3] controls Advances or reverses the rhythm clock by one step. The size of a single step is determined by the Quantize value. Rhythm Pattern Program To move an entered note: 1 Select the note you want to move (as in step 1 on page 146). 2 Press the Rhythm Clock box to enable the box. 2 Change the accent level by using the ACCENT buttons or Accent field. The Accent field allows for finer changes.  3 Turn the Data Control dial to change the position by one clock. To change the length of an entered note: The length of sustaining sounds such as Snare Roll and 9 Whistle can be changed by adjusting the Gate Time. See page 152 for more information. Rhythm Program   Accent field Touch on the box to enable the Accent field. Turning the Data Control dial changes the accent level over a range of 0 - 127. The minimum setting results in no sound.  ACCENT buttons Determines the coarse accent level. Eight accent levels (from " " to " ") are available. Press the desired Accent button to change the currently selected note to the selected level. To erase an entered note: 1 Select the note you want to erase (as in step 1 on page 146). 2 Press the [REST] button in the ACCENT section of the display.
