C OPERATION OF THE PROGRAMMER Key switches and the displays Feed key This key is used for skipped start sewing after thread trimming. Mirror key This key is used to program a smoothing operation. Command lamps After pressing the Feed key, the Mirror key, the Cancel key or the Line key, the corresponding lamp will come on if the input key command is valid. Cancel key This is used to cancel a stitch position in a programmed pattern. Line key This key facilitates programming of the straight lines. Load key Press this to program the current needle position. The input command will be programmed only once even if this key is pressed more than once while the needle remains in the same position. Pm F M R114 E 1 0 STEP 9 5 6 2 I3 End key On completion of pattern programming, press this key after inputting "111" on the STEP display, to enter a pattern end command. Reset key If this key is pressed while in the program mode, the sewing clamp assembly will return to the shunting point (dwelling position). If the key is pressed after inputting "222" the STEP display, the program will be erased completely. Program key Use this key to switch between sewing and program mode. -24- X • Y displays These displays indicate the amount of sewing clamp assembly movement on the X and Y axes, input by the Feed key. STEP display • This display indicates the number of steps when the Plus or Minus key is used. • Commands are numerically converted and displayed here. Ten keys The keys in use are displayed in sequential order on the STEP display. Minus key • Use this key to move the sewing clamp assembly, for the amount the STEP display indicates, in the direction reverse to that programmed. • Use this key to clear a wrong input command. Plus key - Use this key to move the sewing clamp assembly, for the amount the STEP display indicates, in the programmed direction. • Use this key to clear a wrong input command. Jog keys Use these direction keys to move the needle in the arrowed directions. The needle will move no more than 6.1 mm when the command lampE or is off.
