9 Remote Fax Options 9 Fax Forwarding/Paging You cannot use Paging and Fax Forwarding at the same time. You cannot use Paging and Fax Forwarding when Fax Storage is set to OFF. Programming a Fax Forwarding Number When Fax Forwarding is set to ON, your FAX/MFC stores the received fax in memory. Then it dials the fax number you've programmed and forwards the fax message. 1 Press Menu/Set, 2, 5, 1. 1.FAX FWD/PAGING 2 Press or until the LCD shows FAX FORWARD?, and then press Menu/Set. 3 The LCD prompts you to enter the number of the fax machine where faxes will be forwarded. Enter the forwarding number (up to 20 digits), and then press Menu/Set. 4 Press Stop/Exit. FWD#: Programming Your Pager Number When Paging is selected, your FAX/MFC dials the pager number you've programmed, and then dials your Personal Identification Number (PIN); this activates your pager so you know you have a fax message in the memory. 1 Press Menu/Set, 2, 5, 1. 1.FAX FWD/PAGING 2 Press or until the LCD shows PAGING?, and then press Menu/Set. 3 Enter your pager phone number (up to 20 digits) followed by # #, and then press Menu/Set.
