CONTENTS GETTING READY SEWING BASICS UTILITY STITCHES Symptom The fabric is wrinkled. Stitches are skipped. A high-pitched noise is made while sewing. The needle threader cannot be used. The stitch is not sewn correctly. Probable Cause The upper thread was not threaded correctly, or the bobbin is incorrectly installed. The spool is incorrectly installed.
