CONTENTS GETTING READY SEWING BASICS UTILITY STITCHES Threading the needle The needle threader can be used with needle size 75/11 through 100/16. For more details on the needle, refer to "Needle types and their uses" (page 33). With your left hand, hold the end of the 1 thread passed through the needle bar thread hook, and then pass the thread through the thread guide discs from the front. 1 Lower the presser foot lever. 3 1 1 Presser foot lever X The presser foot is lowered. Lower the needle threader lever until it clicks. 4 1 2 3 1 Thread guide discs 2 Pass to the back. 3 Pass through the slit. Cut the thread with the cutter on the left side 2 of the machine. 1 5 1 Needle threader lever X The thread is passed through the eye of the needle.
