GETTING READY SEWING BASICS UTILITY STITCHES GETTING READY CONTENTS Sewing Cylindrical or Large Pieces When sewing cylindrical or large pieces of fabric, remove the flat bed attachment. Stitching cylindrical pieces Removing the flat bed attachment makes it easier to sew cylindrical pieces such as cuffs and pant legs. Pull the flat bed attachment off to the left. 1 Sewing large pieces of fabric The optional wide table makes sewing large pieces of fabric easier. X With the flat bed attachment removed, freearm sewing is possible. Slide the part that you wish to sew onto the 2 arm, and then sew from the top. Open up the legs at the bottom of the wide 1 table. Pull out the four legs until they snap into place. Pull the flat bed attachment off to the left. 2 When you are finished with free-arm sewing, 3 install the flat bed attachment back in its original position. X With the flat bed attachment removed, freearm sewing is possible. Install the wide table. 3 Keeping the wide table level, fully slide it into place. Sewing Cylindrical or Large Pieces
When sewing cylindrical or large pieces of fabric, remove the flat bed attachment.
Stitching cylindrical pieces
Removing the flat bed attachment makes it easier to
sew cylindrical pieces such as cuffs and pant legs.

Pull the flat bed attachment off to the left.
With the flat bed attachment removed, free-
arm sewing is possible.

Slide the part that you wish to sew onto the
arm, and then sew from the top.

When you are finished with free-arm sewing,
install the flat bed attachment back in its
original position.
Sewing large pieces of fabric
The optional wide table makes sewing large pieces
of fabric easier.

Open up the legs at the bottom of the wide
table.
Pull out the four legs until they snap into place.

Pull the flat bed attachment off to the left.
With the flat bed attachment removed, free-
arm sewing is possible.

Install the wide table.
Keeping the wide table level, fully slide it into
place.
