Scallop Stitches This wave shaped running stitch pattern is called the scallop stitch pattern. Use this stitch pattern to decorate the edges of blouse collars and handkerchiefs or use it as an accent at a hem. A temporary spray adhesive may be necessary for lightweight fabrics.
