Parameters src − Allows the selection of the protocol of the source device. dst − Allows the selection of the protocol of the destination device. mettype − allows the selection of one of the methods for calculating the metric value. Type-a calculates the metric (for RIP to OSPF) by adding the destination's interface cost to the metric entered in the Metric field. Type-2 uses the metric entered in the Metric field without change. This field applies only when the destination field is OSPF. metric − Allows the entry of an OSPF interface cost. This is analogous to a Hop Count in the RIP routing protocol. Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command. Routing information source − RIP: the Static Route table, and the Local interface routing information.
