On the 6510 pizza box, for 10G ports, from CLI you cannot configure anything but the default Extended Fabric modes without an Extended Fabric license present. On DCX8510 family CLI, the Extended Fabric configuration behaves as expected for licensed 10G ports (no Extended Fabric license is required for any extended distance modes).
