A port with forbidden registration type thus allows only VLAN 1 to pass through even though the PDU carries information for more VLANs. Therefore, if you do not want the interface to advertise or learn about particular VLANS, set the interface to the registration mode of FORBIDDEN. Based on the configuration in the following example, the interface 1/21 is not removed from VLAN 34 or VLAN 35 despite receiving a GVRP Leave message.
